The next NASCAR Cup Series race, the #Geico500, is Sunday, April 25 at Talladega Superspeedway. The Xfinity Series #AgPro300 race will take place on Saturday. We’re looking forward to the excitement of the official starting lineup. Denny Hamlin will be on the pole for Sunday’s race and lead the starting lineup to the green flag. Joey Logano will start second in the race. The second-row features Martin Truex Jr. and William Byron. Alex Bowman, who won last weekend’s race at Richmond, starts fifth. There will not be any practice or qualifying races at Talladega.
We also thought the two brand new ticket opportunities available at Talladega were pretty awesome. They are upgraded experiences to suit your preference as a fan. These modified options were created to reduce guest travel to and from different areas and minimize potential for crowds in social or common areas. This new modified experience will provide the best and safest possible experience for all fans, drivers, teams, and industry members.
The first is called The Garage Experience and features reserved seating only.
Options include: tables for groups of four, lounge seating for groups of five, and picnic tables for groups of six located inside one of the following areas: BIG BILL’S, Fr8Auctions Celebration Plaza, Clyde May’s Courtyard, Tito’s Lemonade Lounge, Game Zone, and the lower level of the YellaWood Pit Road Club.
Value-priced concessions (most items $5 or less) will be available in two locations: Garage Grill & BIG BILL’S with this option, and screens will be available in each area.
Lounge options include comfortable seating and your group’s own personal flat screen TV. This upgrade also includes an infield parking pass for nearby Silver Lot.
The other upgraded option is The Geico Grounds Blue Infield Drive-In Experience. This is only available for the GEICO 500 on Sunday, April 25th. Talladega Superspeedway invites fans to take in the action as the pack roars through nearby Turns 1 and 2 into the Alabama Gang Superstretch.
This ticket allows you to bring your own food and drinks, small portable grills, and even small pop-up tents and enjoy the race from your own oversized parking spot while distanced from other groups.
$200 per vehicle package includes the following:
- 20’x20’ oversized parking spot in GEICO Grounds Blue
- Admissions for 4 passengers:
- A maximum of 2 additional admissions can be purchased for $50 each. Parties are limited to 6 or fewer people.
- Spots are for cars, pick-up trucks, and passenger vehicles only. No RVs or oversized vehicles will be permitted.
We thought it was noteworthy to share the new and exciting opportunities that tracks are creating after the pandemic’s lock-out of fans in the stands. We all love to be closer to the action and gain some special access!
